About Trail Pittsburgh

Trail Pittsburgh is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating, enhancing, and preserving great singletrack trail experiences in Southwestern Pennsylvania parks.

VISION

Trail Pittsburgh strives to provide the residents of Southwestern Pennsylvania with sustainable multi-use trail experiences with minimal environmental impact through advocacy, education, stewardship, and strategic partnerships with land managers. By facilitating safe and fun recreation, Trail Pittsburgh connects citizens with the region’s expansive outdoor assets to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle.

As a chapter member of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA), Trail Pittsburgh is able to expand our reach and take advantage of IMBA’s extensive support and expertise.

Trail Pittsburgh will continue to focus on multi-use trails for today, tomorrow, and well into the future. If you explore our region’s incredible trails, you’ve experienced and enjoyed our work.

PLAY

Trail Pittsburgh is here to help you connect with our region’s trail assets and the wonderful community of people who enjoy and support our trails.

Explore our region’s trails through MTB Project, the nation’s foremost singletrack trail database, and follow us on social media to stay abreast of the latest on- and off-trail happenings.

JOIN

Amazing trail networks don’t happen without your support. Become a member of Trail Pittsburgh to help us create, enhance, and preserve great trail experiences in Southwestern Pennsylvania. As a charitable 501(c)(3) your contribution is tax deductible and goes directly to support our mission.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteer support is essential to the fulfillment of Trail Pittsburgh’s mission. Park Stewards volunteer their time to organize workdays and rely on additional volunteer support to build, maintain, and improve the trails.

Volunteering with Trail Pittsburgh doesn’t have to be a big commitment. A couple hours here and there goes a long way. View upcoming events and follow us on social media to find a work day in your favorite park.
