South Park features various playing fields, a wave pool, golf course, skating rink, amphitheater, Scout cabins, BMX track, game preserve and nature preserve. It is also the site of the Oliver Miller Homestead, a Whiskey Rebellion site and pioneer landmark, which includes an original 18th century stone house and associated farm buildings that can be visited by the public. There are plans underway to resurrect the South Park Fairgrounds.

Trails consist of single track trails of varying difficulty. In recent years the Fairgrounds Flow Trail was installed.  A new MTB Skills Park with jumps, drops, skinnies and rock gardens is under construction which started in 2024 and is opening in 2025. An enduro style downhill trail is planned.
